One of the most interesting and valuable applications of the McQuaig assessments, is the comparison of results. For example, how will you know that a candidate has the right personality for the position unless you compare their results to the ideal personality for the role, in other terms, the job profile? In addition, it is helpful to see how candidates compare to each other as well as the job profile, to see which one is the closest match. Alternatively, you can compare a candidate’s results to those of their potential manager and teammates to see how the personalities will work together. All of these comparisons are valuable within the hiring phase to help inform your decision.
Even after the hiring phase, it is helpful to compare managers to employees or team members to inform employee relations issues or prevent them from occurring. See How do I use McQuaig for team building? for additional ideas.
