Personality is a stable construct, therefore, if you assess a candidate’s personality, the results of the report will remain accurate over time. It is not typically recommended to re-assess or retest as it is not necessary except for the following cases:
- The profile type is transition or possible transition. See What does the note about transition mean in the report? The time it will take for circumstances to normalize for the individual is completely variable, therefore, there is no set time frame to re-assess. However, it is typically recommended to wait at least few months to re-assess.
- More than a few months have passed since the initial assessment and you are interested in understanding if the individual is making situational adjustments in the current time frame. See What does the situational graph mean in the reports?
The Mental Agility Test includes the same 50 questions, randomized each time. Therefore, the more exposure an individual has to those questions, the likelihood of them being able to answer them correctly increases. Therefore, it is not typically recommended to retest with the Mental Agility Test unless a candidate’s internet connection failed during the assessment. As it is a timed assessment, any internet connectivity issues will reduce the time a candidate has available to answer questions.
