If you already have a benchmark created and want to edit it, the way to do so will depend on which method was used to create it. For more information on the methods of creating a benchmark, see How do I create a benchmark?
Edit a benchmark developed using the individual method:
- Click the Assessments tab
- Click Browse
- Click into the appropriate Job Survey
- Note: You can use the Filter By options to locate the appropriate Job Survey
- Edit the values for:
- Real DO
- Real SO
- Real RE
- Real CO
- Click Set
- Note: The sum of the values must equal 168 in order for the Set button to be available. The system will provide the average for each trait scale as a reference point, however, you do not want to use the average as the Composite because if the profiles included are very different, the average will not be an accurate reflection of the ideal benchmark.
Edit a benchmark by updating the Composite Scores:
- Click the Benchmark link
- Click into the appropriate Benchmark
- Click on Update Composite tab
- Enter the desired values for the final job profile under Composite:
- DO
- SO
- RE
- CO
- Click Set Composite
- Note: The sum of the values must equal 168 in order for the Set Composite button to be available. The system will provide the average for each trait scale as a reference point, however, you do not want to use the average as the Composite because if the profiles included are very different, the average will not be an accurate reflection of the ideal benchmark.
